they are everywhere.

Now, most everyone i know knows the new trend in graphic design, mainly because i don't shut up about it. Specifically a couple of fonts are getting a lot of air time as commercials take to a new high glam and modern look. Futura, invented in the 1930's, and Century Gothic, were incredibly modern fonts when first designed. Characterized by thin uniform line work and near perfectly circular letters(G-O-C-Q), these fonts are showing up everywhere. HP, MTV, IKEA, are all using these font types in ad work. I've drawn up examples of the two fonts. guess which one is which.

The thing i look for when identifying Futura is the harsh angle that the loop of an R meets the main bar. (excuse my layman's terms, my typography book is buried somewhere in my room.)
